Also House Bill No. 493, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-
enact, with amendments, Chapter 717 of the Acts of 1910,
entitled 'An Act providing for the taxation of dogs in Mont-
gomery county, and creating a fund out of which owners of
domestic fowls or animals killed or injured by dogs may be
reimbursed for the loss of the same, and furnishing revenue
for the macadamizing of public roads in said county, and to
provide for the treatment of indigent persons bitten by mad
animals by the Pasteur or other treatment, ' so as to read as

Also House Bill No. 497, entitled "An Act to authorize and
direct the State Roads Commission to construct a highway
connecting the Annapolis Boulevard, authorized by Section
32-R, Chapter 116, of the Laws of Maryland of 1910, with the
Baltimore and Washington Boulevard, and making available
therefor a sufficient sum out of the surplus remaining of the
bond issue authorized by Acts of 1910, Chapter 116, Laws of
Maryland. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by

Also House Bill No\ 532, entitled "An Act to impose certain
additional duties upon the Department of Legislative Refer-
ence, as created by Chapter No. 565 of the Acts of 1906 of
the General Assembly of Maryland, by making it the duty of
said department to assist the Governor, members of the Gen-.
eral Assembly and the several State departments, and to make
an appropriation therefor. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time

Also House Bill No. 405, entitled "An Act to authorize and
empower the Board of Police Commissioners of Baltimore
city, or its successor in office, to reopen and retry the case of
John F. Coulter, an ex-patrolman of the police force of Bal-
timore city, and to reinstate the said John F. Coulter as a
member of the said police force, if in its judgment it shall
deem the same proper or expedient. " [Endorsed: "Read the
