City Senators. ]

Also House Bill No. 655, entitled "An Act to authorize the
County Commissioners of Allegany county to build additions
and make improvements to the courthouse at Cumberland, Al-
legany county, and to borrow money on credit of the county
to pay for said additions and improvements, to issue bonds for
the payment of the same and to levy taxes on the assessable
property of the county to redeem said bonds and to pay the
interest thereon. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed
by yeas and nays"] [Which was read the first time and re-
ferred to Senators Zihlman, Speicher and Bomberger. ]

Also House Bill No. 164, entitled "An Act to add a new
paragraph to Section 6 of the Revised Charter of Baltimore
city, to follow Paragraph 4 and to be designated 4-A, 'Title
Acquired by Condemnation. '" [Endorsed: "Read the third
time and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the first
time and referred to the City Senators. ]

Also House Bill No. 402, entitled "An Act to authorize, em-
power and direct the Board of Public Works of the State of
Maryland to sell all securities, bonds or stocks held for the
benefit of the free schools of sundry counties, and to pay over
the proceeds of such sales to the Boards of County School Com-
missioners of the respective counties, for the benefit of the free
schools of which said securities are held; and to authorize the
said Boards of County School Commissioners to expend the said
proceeds for the construction of school buildings or other per-
manent improvements in their respective counties. " [En-
dorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas and nays"]
[Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Finance. ]

Resolution No, 34 of the Legislative Session of 1831, Joint
Resolution No. 1 of the Legislative Session of 1832, Joint
