Committee on Roads and Highways. ]

Also House Bill No. 573, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-
enact, with amendments, Section 3 of Chapter 425 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1910, entitled 'An Act
to fix the number and to limit and determine the term of office
of the County Commissioners for Queen Anne's county, that
shall hereafter be elected or appointed, to perpetuate the
succession to said office; to fix the compensation therefor, and
to repeal all Acts or parts of Acts so far as the same are in-
consistent with the provisions of this Act. " [Endorsed:
"Read the third time and passed by yeas and nays"] [Which
was read the first time and referred to Senators Legg, Collier
and Cooper. ] .

Also House Bill No. 601, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-
enact, with amendments, Section 216 of Article 17 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title 'Prince George's
County, ' sub-title 'Laurel, ' as the same was repealed and re-
enacted by the Acts of Assembly of 1890, Chapter 201, and by
the Acts of Assembly of 1912, Chapter 695. " [Endorsed: "Read
the third time and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was
read the first time and referred to Senators Holmead, Johnson
and Jones. ]

Also House Bill No. 599, entitled "An Act to provide for
the refunding and extension of so much of the bonded in-
debtedness of the town of Laurel, Prince George's county,
Maryland, authorized under the Act of 1894, Chapter 545, Sec-
tion 246-M, as is due and unpaid. " [Endorsed: "Read the
third time and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read
the first time and referred to Senators Holmead, Johnson and
Jones. ]

Also House Bill No. 245, entitled "An Act to extend and
continue in force the terms of the Act of 1896, Chapter 264,
entitled 'An Act to provide for the appointment of commis-
sioners for the promotion of uniformity of legislation in the
United States, ' as extended and continued in force by the Act
of 1900, Chapter 194, by the Act of 1908, Chapter 407, and
by the Act of 1912, Chapter 593, and to authorize the appoint-
ment and continuance of commissioners thereunder, and to
appropriate the sum of one thousand dollars annually for the
expenses of said commissioners. " [Endorsed: "Read the third
time and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the
first time and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]
