thousand five hundred dollars ($512, 500); second, for the pur-
pose of redeeming the bonds issued by the corporation of Fred-
erick in pursuance of Chapter 323 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1894, and in pursuance of an ordinance
enacted and ordained by the corporation of Frederick on the
16th day of May, 1894, providing for the issuance of said
bonds, under the provisions of which the corporation of Fred-
erick issued and sold bonds to the extent of thirty-five thou-
sand dollars ($35, 000); and to provide for the payment of the
interest on said bonds, and for the payment of the principal
thereof, from the available net receipts derived from the water
system belonging to the corporation of Frederick; provided,
however, that if the available net receipts derived from water
rents and applied to the payment of the interest and the prin-
cipal on said bonds is not sufficient for that purpose, the
Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick shall provide for the levy
and collection of all taxes necessary for the payment of the
interest on said bonds and to redeem and pay off said bonds
as they mature. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and

Also House Bill No. 183, entitled "An Act to authorize,
direct and empower the County Commissioners of Cecil county
to create a bonded debt and borrow money for the purpose of
reconstructing or rebuilding, furnishing and equipping the
Cecil County Court House and public offices and providing
proper sewerage for the same, and acquiring real estate, if
necessary, for the above purposes. " [Endorsed: "Read the

Also House Bill No. 383, entitled "An Act to authorize and
empower the Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick to issue and
sell serial coupon bonds for either or both of the following
purposes: First, for the purpose of refunding to certain citi-
zens of Frederick certain sums of money advanced by them in
pursuance of a motion passed by the Board of Aldermen of
Frederick on the seventh of June, 1915, providing for the
construction of a water main, subsequently laid by the
Major and Aldermen of Frederick in pursuance of an ordi-
nance enacted and ordained by the corporation of Frederick
on the fourteenth day of June, 1915, and to pay all ad-
ditional costs and expenses incurred by the corporation of
Frederick in the laying of said water main; second, for the
