purpose of bonding the floating indebtedness of the corpora-
tion of Frederick, and to provide for the payment of the in-
terest on said bonds, and for the payment of the principal
thereof from the available net receipts derived from the water
system belonging to the corporation of Frederick; provided,
however, that if the available net receipts derived from water
rents and applied to the payment of the interest and the prin-
cipal on said bonds is not sufficient for that purpose, the Mayor
and Aldermen of Frederick shall provide for the levy and col-
lection of all taxes necessary for the payment of the interest
on said bonds and to redeem and pay off said bonds as they
mature. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by
yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the first time and referred
to Senators Kaufman, Zihlman and Speicher. ]

Also House Bill No. 223, entitled "An Act to authorize the
Mayor and Council of Brunswick, Frederick county, Mary-
land, to levy special assessments and for collecting the same
as other town taxes are collected, or in such manner as may
be prescribed by ordinance, upon property binding on any
street or streets, lane or lanes, alley or alleys, or part thereof,
which may have been improved, graded, paved or curbed, or
regraded, repaved or recurbed, under ordinance or ordinances
of said Mayor and Council of Brunswick; which ordinance
provided for assessing the whole or any portion of the cost of
such work upon the property binding upon such street or
streets, lane or lanes, alley or alleys, or part thereof, and the
assessments subsequently made or attempted to be made for
any cause have not been fully collected by said Mayor and
Council of Brunswick. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time
and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the first
time and referred to Senators Kaufman, Zihlman and
Speicher. ']

Also House Bill No. 330, entitled "An Act to add a new sec-
tion to Article 83 of the Code of Public General Laws, title
'Sales and Notices, ' said section to follow immediately after
Section 101 of said Article, as enacted by Chapter 451 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1912, and to be
designated as Section 102. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time
and passed by yeas and nays"] [Which was read the first
time and referred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]

Also House Bill No. 288, entitled "An Act to repeal Sec-
tions 1 to 28, inclusive, and Sections 43 and 45 of Article 58,
as the same are numbered and set forth in the Annotated Code
of Maryland, as legalized by Chapter 21 of the Acts of 1912
