Section 119 and to be known as Section 119-A, providing that
offenses against this sub-title committed on waters of the
Chesapeake Bay without the limits of any county may be tried
in Baltimore city. " [Which was read the first time and re-
ferred to the Committee on Chesapeake Bay and Tributaries. ]

UNFINISHED BUSINESS.

The President laid before the Senate the Unfinished Busi-
ness, being

SENATE BILL No. 252, BY MR. WARFIELD.

SUBJECT: MOTOR VEHICLES.

Amendment proposed by Mr. Norris: "On page 2, line 16,
after the word 'highways, ' insert 'other than reasonable regu-
lations and charges for parking purposes, where such incorpo-
rated town or city provides special parking places or facili-
ties. ' " [Which amendment was withdrawn. ]

Amendment proposed by Mr. Ogden: "Amend amendment
by inserting the word Voluntary' before the word 'parking. '"
[Which was rejected. ]

Amendment proposed by the President: "Amend by insert-
ing after the word 'highways, ' on page 2, line 16, the following
words: 'other than reasonable charges for the parking of
vehicles within spaces set aside exclusively for parking pur-
poses in congested sections. " Which was read and adopted by
yeas and nays as follows:

cretion of the court. '" [Which was redd and adopted. ]

Amendment proposed by Mr. Warfield: "Amend by insert-
ing between lines 78 and 79 of Section 141, 'Fees for Regis-
tration of Motor Vehicles, ' page 13, the following:

'Class F. —One dollar ($1. 00) per horse-power or fraction
thereof in the case of all motor vehicles operating for the
purpose of transporting persons for hire upon any of the pub-
