Mr. Archer, from Select Committee, reported favorably

HOUSE BILL No. 356, BY MR. TYDINGS,

SUBJECT: DISSOLUTION OF SPECIAL COMMISSION
IN HAVRE DE GRACE—HARFORD COUNTY.

[Which favorable report was adopted, which was read the
second time. ]

At 1. 30 o'clock P. M. the Secretary of State appeared and
delivered a message from the Executive.

SPECIAL ORDER OF THE DAY.

The President laid before the Senate the Special Order,
being

SENATE BILL No. 252, BY MR. WARFIELD.

SUBJECT: MOTOR VEHICLES.

With proposed amendments, which were acted upon as fol-
lows:

Amendment proposed by Mr. Frick: "After the word 'high-
way' in line 16 of Section 133, insert the words 'for purposes
of travel. '" [Which amendment was withdrawn. ]

Amendment proposed by Mr. Norris: "On page 2, line 16?
after the word 'highways, ' insert 'other than reasonable regu-
lations and charges for parking purposes, where such incor-
porated town or city provides special parking places or facili-
ties. ' "

Pending consideration.

At 2. 20 o'clock P. M., on motion of Mr. Williams, the Senate
took a recess until 5 o'clock P. M., by yeas and nays as
follows:
