Mr. Ogden, from Committee on Judicial Proceedings, re-
ported favorably, with amendments,

SENATE BILL No. 433, BY MR. OGDEN.
SUBJECT: CHARTERED GEOGRAPHICAL SUB-DIVIS-
IONS OF MARYLAND.

Amendments proposed by Committee:

"Section 16, line 8, page 9 of the printed Bill, strike out
the period, after the word 'waters' and before the word 'to, '

and insert in lieu thereof a comma, and then insert the fol-
lowing: 'to the extent that said matters and things are not
now or may not hereafter be provided for by general law. ' "

"Section 16, line 18, page 9 of the printed Bill, strike out
the period at the end of the sentence, insert a comma in lieu
thereof, and then insert the following: 'to the extent that said
matters and things are not now or may not hereafter be pro-
vided for by general law. ' "

[Which was laid over under the rules. ]

SUBJECT: LICENSES—TELEGRAPH AND EXPRESS

SUBJECT: HARFORD COUNTY CODE.

Amendments proposed by Mr. Archer:

No. 1—"After the word 'sub-titles' in the last line of the
title of the printed Bill, strike out the period and insert a
semicolon and the following:

'Providing for the effect this Act shall have upon Acts of the
General Assembly passed at its Session of 1916, in reference
to Harford county, and "providing for the payment by the
County Commissioners of Harford county of a sum of money
for the codifying of the Local Laws of Harford county and

the preparation of this Bill. ' " [Which was read and adopted. ]
