"In Section 40, page 3 of the printed Bill, at the end of the
line 30, after the words 'Notary Public, ' insert a new sentence
as follows:

'The said Clerks of Court shall grant to every person who
shall apply for the same, such license as he may desire, and
be authorized to obtain, properly filled up and signed by
them. '"

"In Section 41, page 3 of the printed Bill, strike out the
words 'If it shall appear' on line 1, and everything following
these words down to and including the words 'Three Hundred
Dollars7 on line 4 of Section 51 of page 4 of the printed Bill,
thereby striking out Sections 41, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50
and 51 of the printed Bill. "

"In Section 52, page 4 of the printed Bill, strike out the
words on line 1 'If more than' and everything following said
words down to and including the words on line 3 of said
Section 52, 'Hundred Dollars, ' and insert in lieu thereof the
following:

'52. If more than forty thousand dollars, and not more than
fifty thousand dollars, the sum of one hundred and fifty dol-
lars. ' "

"After line 3, Section 52, page 4 of the printed Bill, insert
the following:

'52-A. If more than fifty thousand dollars and not more
than seventy-five thousand dollars, the sum of two hundred
dollars.

'52-B. If more than seventy-five thousand dollars, and not
more than one hundred thousand dollars, the sum of two hun-
dred and fifty dollars.

'52-C. If more than one hundred thousand dollars, and not
more than one hundred and fifty thousand dollars, the sum of
three hundred dollars.

'52-D. If more than one hundred and fifty thousand dol-
lars, and not more than two hundred thousand dollars, the sum
of three hundred and fifty dollars.

'52-E. If more than two hundred thousand dollars, and not
more than three hundred thousand dollars, the sum of four
hundred dollars.

'52-F. If more than three hundred thousand dollars, and
not more than four hundred thousand dollars, the sum of five
hundred dollars.

'52-G. If more than four hundred thousand dollars, and
not more than five hundred thousand dollars, the sum of six
hundred dollars.

'52-H. If more than five hundred thousand dollars, and not
more than seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars, the sum
of seven hundred and fifty dollars.
