Hours of, in Factories, " as repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, by Chapter 192 of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of Maryland for 1906, and by repealing Sections 5 to
12, both inclusive, of said Article 100, as enacted by Chapter
192 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland for 1906,
and by repealing Section 4 of said Chapter 192 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland for 1906, and by en-
acting in lieu of said sections so repealed forty-seven new
sections of said Article 100, to be known as Sections 4 to 50,
both inclusive, of said Article 100, title "Work; Hours of, in
Factories, " subtitle "Employment of Minors"; said new sec-
tions so enacted providing regulations for the employment of
minors, establishing a system of employment certificates, pro-
viding for enforcement of said regulations and appropriating
money therefor, ' and to re-enact sub division e, with amend-
ments. " [Which was read the first time and referred to the

By Mr. Harrison: Senate Bill No. 491, entitled "An Act to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 1 and 2 of
Chapter 449 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at its January Session of 1914, entitled 'An Act to en-
courage horticulture and appropriate a sum of money to the
Peninsula Horticultural Society. '" [Which was read the
first time and referred to the Committee on Finance. ']
By Mr. Frick: Senate Bill No. 492, entitled "An Act to add
a new section to Article 23 of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland of 1912, entitled 'Corporations, ' sub-title
'Railroad Companies, ' to come in immediately after Section
284 and to be designated as Section 284-A, authorizing rail-
road companies to acquire the property, rights, privileges and
franchises of connecting railroad companies. " [Which was
read the first time and referred to the Committee on Corpo-
rations. ]
By Mr. Johnson: Senate Bill No. 493, entitled "An Act to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 93, 95 and 97
of Article 23 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title 'Cor-
porations, ' sub-title 'Foreign Corporations, ' and to correct the
inconsistencies between Section 167, Article 81, of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland and the provisions of this Act. "

tee on Finance. ]
