Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We respectfully request your Honorable Body to return to
the Senate, Mr. Smith's House Bill No. 7, for the further con-
sideration of this body,

[Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of
Delegates. ]

The Chief Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and
delivered the following message:

We have received your message asking the return of House
Bill No. 7, introduced by Mr. Smith, for further consideration,
and we herewith return said Bill.

SUBJECT: SUBMISSION TO VOTERS OF CERTAIN

WHETHER THE SALE OF SPIRITUOUS OR FERMENTED

LIQUORS SHALL BE PERMITTED.

On motion of Mr. Norris, the vote by which the Bill was

passed, as amended, was reconsidered by yeas and nays a. s
