said School Board is further authorized to purchase suitable
grounds therefor and to erect thereon and equip a public
school building for white children in said town of Kensing-
ton; to purchase the ground and erect thereon and equip a
public school building for white children in the village of
Chevy Chase; and to direct the Board of County Commission-
ers of said county to pay for the same and to borrow money
for that purpose, and to issue the bonds of said county for
the money so borrowed and to levy a tax on the taxable prop-
erty of said county for the payment of said bonds and the in-
terest thereon, as the same matures, as hereinafter provided. "
[Which was read the first time and referred to Senators Jones,
Holmead and Johnson. ]

By Mr. Collier: Senate Bill No. 483, entitled "An Act to
repeal Section 14 of Article 25 of the Code of Public General
Laws, title 'County Commissioners, ' so far as the same re-
lates to Talbot county, and to repeal and re-enact, with amend-
ments, Section 31 of Article 21 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title 'Talbot County, ' sub-title 'County Commissioners
—Compensation, ' so far as the said last-mentioned section is
repealed and reenacted by Chapter 291 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Ses-
sion, 1892, and also to repeal all other parts or sections of
said Chapter 291 and re-enact the same, with amendments;
also to repeal Chapter 568 of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, passed at the January Session, 1912, so as
to designate in said Section 31 the number of County Com-
missioners for Talbot county, their respective places of resi-
dence, mode of election, qualifications, terms of office, com-
pensation, and to define and prescribe certain duties. " [Which
was read the first time and referred to Senators Collier,
Cooper and Shepherd. ]

By Mr. Archer: Senate Bill No. 484, entitled "An Act to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 415 of Article
23 of Bagby's Annotated Code of Public Civil Laws of Mary-
land, title 'Corporations, 7 sub-title 'Public Service Commis-
sion, ' and to add two new sections to said Article 23 of said
Code, to be known as Sections 413-B and 454-A. 77 [Which was
read the first time and referred to the Committee on Judicial
