Game and Fish Protective Association (incorporated Feb-
ruary 21, 1916), but in the event of the failure of the said
Game and Fish Protective Association to recommend a per-
son for said appointment, said Commissioners shall appoint
some suitable person on their own motion as Chief Game War-
den. The said Game Warden shall receive a salary of $600
a year, to be retained by him from moneys coming into his
hands from the issuance of hunting licenses and the collection
of fines for the violation of the fish and game laws of Harford
county. And he shall be allowed for printing notices, forms
of licenses to be issued as aforesaid, office rent and other
necessary office expenses, to be paid out of the receipts afore-
said, not exceeding, however, the sum of three hundred dol-
lars a year; and he shall also be allowed reasonable counsel fees
when in his judgment it shall be necessary to employ counsel
to enforce the provisions of this Act, to be paid out of the
said receipts of the office; and all moneys over and above said
amounts shall be used in enforcing the provisions of this law,
and protecting, procuring, feeding and propagating game in
Harford county. ' " [Which was read and adopted. ]

No. 5—"Strike out all of Section 44-G after the semicolon,
in line 14 of page 9 of the printed Bill, and insert in lieu
thereof the following: 'and at the end of each year he shall
file, under oath, with the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Har-
ford county a full written report of his proceedings during the
year, with an itemized account of all receipts and disburse-
ments made by him under this Act; and at the expiration of
his term of office he shall file a written final report and ac-
count with the Clerk of the Circuit Court, under oath, and
turn over to his successor all unexpended moneys that have
come into his hand as Chief Game Warden. '" [Which was
read and adopted. ]

second time and ordered printed for a third reading. ]

At 8. 30 o'clock P. M. the Secretary of State appeared and
delivered a message from the Executive.
