No. 8—"In lines 69 and 70, on page 4, of the printed: Bill,
strike out the words and figures 'sum of twenty-nine thousand
seven hundred and fifty-five dollars and sixty-seven cents,
and insert in lieu thereof the words and figures 'sum of
thirty-two thousand, four hundred and two dollars and thirty-
eight cents. '"

[Which was laid over under the rules. ]

Mr. Archer, from Committee on Fish and Game, reported
favorably

SENATE BILL No. 328, BY MR. ARCHER.

SUBJECT: BIRDS AND GAME—HARFORD COUNTY,

Amendments proposed by Mr. Archer:

No. 1—"On page 3, of the printed Bill, strike out all of
Section 42-B, and insert in lieu thereof the following:

'Section 42-B. No person or persons shall set any trap?
dead-fall, pit-fall, snare, steel-trap or other device for the
taking or trapping of wild animals, except muskrats, in said
Harford county, between the twenty-fourth day of December
and the fifteenth day of November, exclusive of both dates. '"'
[Which was read and adopted. ]

No. 2-"On line 53, of Page 5, of the printed Bill, strike out
the comma after the word 'resident. '" [Which was read and
adopted. ]

No. 3—"On line 7, of Section 44-D, of the printed Bill, after
the words 'failing to, ' insert the following: 'make a report
and. '" [Which was read and adopted. ]

No. 4. —"Strike out all of Section 44-E, on page 7, of the
printed Bill, down to and including all of line 17, on page 8,
of said Bill, and insert in lieu thereof the following:

'Section 44-E. There is hereby created a Game Warden for
Harford county to be called the Chief Game Warden of Har-
ford county, who shall hold his office for a term of two years,
commencing on the first Monday of June next succeeding his
appointment, or until his successor shall have been appointed
and. qualified, and the person so appointed as Chief Game
Warden shall have been a resident and voter in said Harford
county for not less than two years next preceding his appoint-
ment. The Game Warden created by this Act shall be J.
Nathan Dean, who shall serve for two years from the first
Monday in June, 1916, and on the first Monday in June, 1918,
or as soon thereafter as practicable, and every two years there-
after, the County Commissioners of Harford county shall
appoint a Chief Game Warden for the county, who shall be
recommended to them, in writing, by the Harford County
