PRESENTATION OF PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND
OTHER PAPERS.

By the President: Petition of the Union of the Holy Name
Society of the archdiocese of Baltimore; John F. Wilhelm,
president; Joseph P. Tully, secretary; Wm. F. Wheatley,
treasurer; in favor of House Bill No. 94, for the establishment
of a State Board of Censors for motion-pictures. [Which was
read and referred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]

Also a petition of the American Forestry Association, 1410
H street, Northwest, Washington, D. C.; Charles Lathrop
Pack, president; John E. Jenks, treasurer, and P. S. Rids-
dale, executive secretary; hoping and requesting the Maryland
members of the American Forestry Association to oppose
Senate Bill No. 245 and House Bill No. 289, which aim to
abolish the present State Board of Forestry and transfer its
work to the Board of Agriculture. [Which was read and re-
ferred to the Committee on Finance. ]
