By Mr. Williams: Senate Bill No. 381, entitled "An Act to
amend Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of the
State of Maryland, title 'Cecil County, ' sub-title 'Elkton, ' by
adding four additional sections thereto, providing for bonding
the town of Elkton to pay for and to provide for the con-
struction and installation of a sewerage system, and to
submit the question of issuing said bonds to the vote of the
legally qualified voters and tax-payers of said town. " [Which
was read the first time and referred to Senators Williams,
Brown and Archer. ]

By Mr. Frick: Senate Bill No. 382, entitled "An Act to
amend the charter of the Baltimore Chamber of Commerce
by providing for classification and regulation of its member-
ship. " [Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Corporations. ]

By Mr. Frick: Senate Bill No. 383, entitled "An Act to re-
peal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 2 of Chapter 110
of the Act of Assembly of Maryland of 1807, entitled 'An Act
to incorporate the contributors to the Baltimore General Dis-
pensary. ' " [Which was read the first time and referred to
the Committee on Corporations. ]

By Mr. Williams, by request: Senate Bill No. 384, entitled
"An Act to repeal Section 130 of Article 8 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title 'Cecil County, ' sub-title
'Elkton, ' and to re-enact the same, with amendments. " [Which
was read the first time and referred to Senators Williams,
Brown and Archer. ]

By Mr. Williams: Senate Bill No. 385, entitled "An Act to
authorize the corporation of trustees for the Brick Meeting
House lot, in East Nottingham, Cecil county, Maryland, a
religious corporation of the State of Maryland, to lease for a
term or terms of years portions of the land granted to said
corporation by the State of Maryland, by patent dated Feb-
ruary 13, 1792, and recorded in Liber I. C. No. H, Folio 19,
one of the land records books of the said State of Maryland. "
[Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Judicial Proceedings. ]

By Mr. Bomberger: Senate Bill No. 386, entitled "An Act to
authorize and empower the Mayor and Council of Hagers-
town, Washington county, to provide, by special or general
