By Mr. Collier: Senate Bill No. 344, entitled "An Act to
authorize and direct the State Roads Commission of Mary-
land to build and construct an improved road from the town
of Easton to Claiborne, in Talbot county, and to establish and
operate a ferry from Claiborne to the city of Annapolis, and
to appropriate a sum of money to pay the expenses thereof. "
[Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Finance. ] '.

By Mr. Cooper: Senate Bill No. 345, entitled "An Act to
repeal Chapter 435 of the Acts of 1914, adding nine new sec-
tions to Chapter 91 of the Acts of 1904. " [Which was read
the first time and referred to Senators Cooper, Collier and
Legg. ]

By Mr, Cooper: Senate Bill No. 346? entitled "An Act to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 90 of Article
6 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Caroline County, '

sub-title 'Denton, ' as the same was enacted by Chapter 730
of the Acts of 1914, and to add an additional section to said
Article; said title and said sub-title to follow Section 95 and
to be designated as 95-A. " [Which was read the first time
and referred to Senators Cooper, Legg and Collier. ]

SUBJECT: REVENUE AND TAXES.

Amendment proposed by Committee: "Amend by striking
out from line 2 of Section 7-A the words 'and the Appeal Tax
Court of Baltimore city7 and by adding to the said Bill the
words 'provided, that this Act shall not apply to Baltimore
city, ' to come after the words 'as aforesaid, ' in line 16. "
