viding for appropriations for the maintenance of the Mary-

revise the corporation laws of the State of Maryland. " [Which
was read the first time and referred to the Committee on Ju-

By Mr. Collier: Senate Bill No. 343, entitled "An Act to
repeal Sections 99 to 104, both inclusive, of Article 48, as the
same are numbered and set forth in the Annotated Code of
Maryland, as legalized by Chapter 16 of the Acts of 1914 of
the General Assembly of Maryland, title 'Inspection, ' sub-
title 'Seed, ' and to re-enact the same with amendments; and
to add seven new sections to said Article 48 of said Annotated
Code of Maryland, to follow immediately after Section 104 of
said Article 48 and to be numbered respectively 105, 106,
107, 108, 109, 110 and 111, providing for the regulation of the
selling, offering or exposing for sale of agricultural seeds
within the State of Maryland, and for an examination of
seeds sold in the State of Maryland, and for determining
their purity and for requiring labeling, and providing penal-
ties for failure to comply with the terms and conditions im-
