to prohibit any minister of the Gospel or other person, in
Washington county, who is now or may hereafter be author-
ized under the laws of Maryland to perform the marriage
ceremony, to give, directly or indirectly, to any person any fee
as an inducement to bring any persons contemplating mar-
riage to him for the purpose of performing the marriage cere-
money. " [Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]
By Mr. Ogden: Senate Bill No. 326, entitled "An Act to add
a new article to the Annotated Code of Maryland and to re-
peal Sections 134, 144, 145, 146, 147, 148, 149, 150 (as amended
by Section 140-H of Chapter 133 of the Acts of 1912), 151,
152, 153, 154, 155, 158 and 160 of Article 56 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title 'Licenses, ' sub-title 'Motor Vehicles, '
and Sections 140, 140-H, 141 of Article 56 of the Code of 1904,
as amended by Chapter 133 of the Acts of 1912 and re-enact
said sections; said new Article to be known as Article CII,;
title 'Road Traffic, ' with appropriate sub-titles, the same pro-
viding regulations for the control of traffic of all kinds upon
the roads in the State of Maryland. " [Which was read the

ings. ']

repeal Chapter 327 of the Acts of 1908, title 'An Act regu-
lating the salary for the State's Attorney for Howard coun-
ty, ' and to re-enact the same with amendments. " [Which was
read the first time and referred to Senators Johnson, Jones
and Holmead.

peal and re-enact, with amendments, Chapter 365 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1914, title 'Harford
County, ' sub-title 'Birds and Game. '" [Which was read the
first time and referred to the Committee on Fish and Game. ]

"An Act to appropriate a sum of money for the use of the
State Board of Forestry in protecting and developing the Pa-
tapsco Forest Reserve. " [Which was read the first time and
referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

"An Act to enable the State Board of Forestry to co-operate
with the Federal Government in forest protection under the
Weeks Law, and appropriating a sum of money for forest fire
