SENATE BILL No. 152, BY MR. COLLIER.
SUBJECT: JUSTICES OF THE PEACE AND CONSTA-
BLES—TALBOT COUNTY.

[Which favorable report was adopted, which was read the
second time and ordered printed for a third reading. ]

At 2. 30 o'clock P. M., on motion of Mr. Cooper, the Senate
adjourned until Monday, February 21, at 8 o'clock P. M.

ANNAPOLIS, Monday, February 21, 1916.

The Senate met at 8 o'clock P. M.
Prayer by Rev. Julius Hofmann.

approved.

PRESENTATION OF PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND
OTHER PAPERS.

By the President: A petition of N. M. Carroll, president,
the Aged Men and Women's Home for Colored People, situated
at 1622 Druid Hill avenue, Baltimore, Maryland, asking for
an appropriation for said home. [Which was read the first
time and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

ORDERS.

On motion of Mr. Johnson it was ordered that Mr. Holmead
be excused from today's session on account of important busi-
ness.

On motion of Mr. Warfield it was ordered that Mr. Harri-
son be excused from today's session on account of important
business.
