'Governor, ' and inserting in lieu thereof the words 'Board of
Public Works. '"

"By striking out in lines 30 and 31 of Section 2, page 6 of
the printed Bill, after the words 'may reduce all other items
in the, 7 the words 'Governor's estimates, ' and inserting in lieu
thereof the words 'budget estimates, ' "

[Whereupon the Bill and amendments were made the order

tion to the Bill to be known as Section 6-A and to read as fol-
lows: 'Section 6-A—That the provisions of this Act shall not
apply to Baltimore city. '" [Which was laid over under the
rules, and, on motion of Mr. Bennett, was made the order of
the day for February 24, at 1 o'clock P. M. ]
