appropriate a sum of money to pay E. Frank Ely and Nannie
F. Ely, his wife, for injuries done to their property and dam-

called 'Piney Run, ' by the Springfield State Hospital, an
agent of the State of Maryland. " [Which was read the first
time and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]
By Mr. Warfield: Senate Bill No. 251, entitled "An Act
to create a building commission to be known as 'State Armory
Building Commission No. 1, 1916, ' and to provide for the pur-
chase of a lot of ground in the city of Westminster, State
of Maryland, and for the erection thereon of an armory for
the use of the company or companies and the regularly en-
listed band of the First Regiment, Maryland National Guard,
there permanently located, and to name a commission for the
purpose of purchasing said lot of ground and providing for
the construction of an armory thereon, and to appropriate a
sum of money therefor. " [Which was read the first time and
referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 133 and 161,
inclusive, of the Code (of 1912) of Public General Laws of
Maryland, title 'Licenses, ' sub-title 'Motor Vehicles, ' as
amended and added to by Chapter 133 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at its Session of 1912,
and Chapters 564 and 832 of the Acts of 1914; the whole be-
ing intended to comprise a revision and re-enactment of all
the laws of the State pertaining to motor vehicles, with cer-
tain new and additional provisions relating thereto. " [Which

Finance. ]

repeal Section 141, as amended by Chapter 310 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at its Session

its Session of 1912, and to repeal Sections 145, 149 and 158-C,
