17, 20? 21 and 22, of Article 39-A, as the same are numbered
and set forth in the Annotated Code of Maryland, as legalized
by Chapter 21 of the Acts of 1912, and Chapter 16 of the Acts
of 1914 of the General Assembly of Maryland, title 'Forestry, '

sub-titles 'Roadside Trees' and 'Miscellaneous, ' and to re-
enact the same with amendments; and to repeal Sections 18
and 19 of said Article 39-A, as the same are numbered and set
forth in the said Annotated Code of Maryland, as legalized by
Chapter 16 of the Acts of 1914 of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, title 'Forestry, ' sub-title 'Miscellaneous, ' and to repeal
Chapter 209 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland
of the year 1914, and to re-enact the same with amendments,
said Chapter 209 of said Acts of 1914, as repealed and re-
enacted to constitute one additional section of said Article
39-A of said Annotated Code of Maryland, to follow imme-
diately after Section 22 of said Article and to be numbered 23. "
[Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Finance. ]

By Mr. Chesley: Senate Bill No. 246, entitled "An Act to
authorize and require the County Commissioners of St. Mary's
county to levy a sum of money sufficient to keep open the white
schools for the period of nine months and the colored schools
the period of seven months of each year. ". [Which was read
the first time and referred to Senators Chesley, Joy and
Mudd. ]

By Mr. Holmead: Senate Bill No. 247, entitled "An Act to
repeal Sections 9 to 49 (both inclusive) of Article 48, as the
same are numbered and set forth in the Annotated Code of
Maryland, as legalized by Chapter 21 of the Acts of 1912, and
Chapter 16 of the Acts of 1914 of the General Assembly of
Maryland, title 'Inspection, ' sub-title 'Tobacco, ' and to re-enact
same with amendments. " [Which was read the first time and
referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

By Mr. Norris: Senate Bill No. 248, entitled "An Act to re-
peal Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 4-A, 4 B, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 of
Article 45-A, as the same are numbered and set forth in the
Annotated Code of Maryland, as legalized by Chapter 21 of the
Acts of 1912 and Chapter 16 of the Acts of 1914 of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, title 'Immigration, ' sub-title
'Bureau of Immigration. ' " [Which was read the first time and
referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 51, 52, 55, 60,
