new sections to Article 48 of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
to follow Section 74 of said Article, and to be known as Sec-
tions 74a, 74b, 74c, 74d, 74e, 74f, 74g, 74h and 74i. " [Which

By Mr. Parsons: Senate Bill No. 240, entitled "An Act to
repeal Sections 1 to 28, inclusive, and Sections 43 and 45 of
Article 58, as the same are numbered and set forth in the An-
notated Code of Maryland, as legalized by Chapter 21 of the
Acts of 1912, and Chapter 16 of the Acts of 1914, of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, title 'Live Stock, ' and re-enact the
same with amendments, and to add to said Article 58 of said
Code one new section to follow Section 28, and to be known
as Section 28a, providing for the transfer of the duties of the
State Live Stock Sanitary Board to the Maryland State Board

authorize and direct the State Roads Commission to construct
a highway in the counties of Baltimore and Howard, between
the town of Ellicott City and the village of Elkridge, along
the banks of the Patapsco river to run through the State
forest reserve lying between the said town of Ellicott City
and said village of Elkridge and to make an appropriation

By Mr. Harrison: Senate Bill No. 242, entitled "An Act to
provide for the issue of certificates of indebtedness of the State
of Maryland, to provide two million five hundred thousand,
dollars ($2, 500, 000), to be used by the State Roads Com-
mission of Maryland to construct and maintain the system of
State roads, and for paving in Baltimore city. " [Which was
