STATE TREASURER'S OFFICE,

ANNAPOLIS, MD., February 16, 1916.

Pursuant to the authority contained in Section 23 of Article
95 of Bagby's Annotated Code, it is hereby certified that the Com-
mittee on Finance of the Senate and the Committee on Ways
and Means of the House of Delegates did examine and count
the above enumerated certificates of stock of the State Build-
ing and Improvement Loan, issued under authority of Chapter
607 of the Acts of 1900, all of which certificates were due
July 1, 1915? and which were redeemed and cancelled, and
found the numbers and amounts as hereinbefore recorded to
be correct; also Certificate No. 56 of the Maryland State Loan,
issued under authority of Chapter 366 of the Acts of 1872,
for |1. 00, due July 1, 1887, and Certificate No. 2528 of the
State Currency Loan, issued under authority of Chapter 20
of the Acts of 1839, for $3. 99, due January 1, 1891, which
were redeemed and cancelled, were examined and found to be
correct.

It is further certified that all of the said certificates as
hereinbefore described were by said committees burned on
the sixteenth day of February, 1916, in the presence of the
Treasurer and Comptroller of the State of Maryland.
