By Mr. Mudd: Senate Bill No. 165, entitled "An Act to
repeal Chapter 362 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1912, entitled 'An Act to prohibit any person or
persons from shooting muskrats in or upon the waters of the
Nanjemoy Creek, its tributaries or branches in Charles county,
Maryland, by using a reflector light or other kind of light
or lights. '" [Which was read the first, time and referred to
Senators Mudd, Holmead and Chesley. ]

By Mr. Williams: Senate Bill No. 166, entitled "An Act to
repeal Sections 202, 203? 204, 205 and 206 of Article 27 of the
Code of Public General Laws, entitled 'Crimes and Punish-
ments, ' sub-title 'Gaming, ' and Chapter 127 of the Acts of
1906 and Chapters 77 and 132 of the Acts of 1912, and to add
a new section to be known as Section 202. " [Which was read
the first time and referred to the Committee on Judicial Pro-
ceedings. ]

By Mr. Joy: Senate Bill No. 167, entitled "An Act to au-
thorize and empower the County Commissioners of Calvert
county to sell or lease certain portions of the courthouse lot
in Prince Frederick, Calvert county, which are not needed
for public purposes, and apply the proceeds to county pur-
poses. " [Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Finance. ]

By Mr. Collier: Senate Bill No. 168, entitled "An Act to "
assent to the Act of Congress passed at the second session of
the Sixty-third Congress, known as the Smith Lever Bill, H.
R. 7951, approved by the President May 8, 1914, entitled 'An
Act to provide for co-operative agricultural extension work
between the agricultural colleges in the several States receiv-
ing the benefits of an Act of Congress, approved July 2, 1862,
and of Acts supplementary thereto, and the United States
Department of Agriculture. ' " [Which was read the first time
and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

By Mr. Johnson: Senate Bill No. 169, entitled "An Act to
declare the sanction and consent of the General Assembly of
Maryland to the sale, grant and conveyance to 'Grace Meth-
odist Episcopal Church South of Savage, ' a body corporate
duly incorporated, by James P. Haslup and Thomas I. King,
surviving trustees of a certain lot of ground in the village of
Savage in Howard county. " [Which was read the first time
and referred 'to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]

By Mr. Allen: Senate Bill No. 170, entitled "An Act to re-
peal Sections 28, 29, 29-A, 29-B, 29-0, 29-D and 30 of Article
