By Mr. Holmead: Ordered, That the State Printer be or-
dered to furnish 250 copies of the Roster. [Which was read
and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.

By the President: Senate Bill No. 139, entitled "An Act to
extend the privileges, alter the powers and amend the Charter
of 'The Columbus Tuberculosis Fund Corporation, ' a corpora-
tion duly incorporated under the General Laws of Maryland. "
[Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Corporations. ]

By Mr. Shepherd: Senate Bill No. 140, entitled "An Act
to appropriate a sum of money for the purchase of a lot of
ground in the City of Cambridge, Dorchester county, Mary-
land, and the erection thereon of an armory for the use of the
organizations of the Maryland National Guard, and the equip-
ment of the same, and to name a building commission for
the purpose of this Act. " [Which was read the first time and
referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

By Mr. Bennett: Senate Bill No. 141, entitled "An Act to
authorize the Mayor and Council of Salisbury to borrow nine
thousand dollars ($9, 000), and to issue bonds for the payment
of the same, 'for the purpose of purchasing a chemical fire
engine for use of the City of Salisbury, Maryland. " [Which
was read the first time and referred to Senators Bennett,
Shepherd and Parsons. ]

By Mr. Williams: Senate Bill No. 142, entitled "An Act
to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 80, 81, 82
and 83 of Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title 'Cecil County, ' sub-title 'Charlestown, ' and to
add nineteen additional sections to said Article under said
title and sub-title to follow Section 83, as re-enacted, and to
be designated as Sections 83-A, 83-B, 83-C, 83-D, 83-E, 83-F,
83-G, 83-H, 83-1, 83-J, 83-K, 83-L, 83-M, 83-N, 83-O, 83-P, 83-Q,
83-R, and 83-S. " [Which was read the first time and referred
to Senators Williams, Archer and Cooper. ]
