in a certain lot of ground in the City of Baltimore. " [Which

a certain lot of ground and improvements in the City of Bal-

The President distributed the following message from the
House of Delegates, being House Bill No. 30, entitled "An" Act
to repeal and re-enact Section 187 of Article 81 of the Code rof
Public General Laws, entitled 'Revenue and Taxes, ' sub title
^Tax on Mortgages, ' as amended and re-enacted by the Act of
1906, Chapter 79-1, as amended and re-enacted by the Act of
1908, Chapter 283, as amended and re-enacted by the Act of
1910, Chapter 544, as amended and re-enacted by the Act of
1912, Chapter 115, and to re-enact said section with amend-
ments. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed "by yeas
and nays. "] [Which was read the first time and referred to
the Committee on Finance. ']
Also House Bill No. 64, entitled "An Act to repeal Section
12 of the Acts of 1898, Chapter 99, Public Local Laws, entitled
'Washington County, ' sub-title 'Sharpsburg, ' and to re-enact
