INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.

By the President: A Bill entitled "An Act to declare the
sanction and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland to
the bequest contained in the will and codicil of John K. Mc-
Culloh, late of Bedford, Pennsylvania, deceased, to the Meth-
odist Preachers' Aid Society of Baltimore. " [Which was read
the first time and referred to the Committee on Judicial Pro-
ceedings. ']

By Mr, Zihlman: Senate Bill No. 106, entitled "An Act to
refund to Mrs. A. M. E. Laney, of Allegany county, a sum, of
money erroneously paid by her for State taxes in the years
1911, 1912, 1913 and 1914. " [Which was read the first time
and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

By Mr. Zihlman: Senate Bill No. 107, entitled "An Act to
repeal Section 49 of Article 33 of the Code of Public General
Laws of 1904, title 'Elections, ' sub-title 'Nominations, ' and to
repeal Sections 55, 56, 58 and 59 of the Code of Public General
Laws of 1904, title 'Elections, ' sub-title 'Ballots and Ballot
Boxes, ' and to re-enact, with amendments^ said Sections 49,
55 and 59. " [Which was read the first time and referred to
the Committee on Elections. ]

By Mr. Zihlman: Senate Bill No. 108, entitled "An Act to
prohibit any minister of the Gospel or other person in Alle-
gany county, who is now or may hereafter be authorized un-
der the laws of Maryland to perform the marriage ceremony,
to give, directly or indirectly, to any person any fee as an in-
ducement to bring any persons contemplating marriage to him
for the purpose of performing the marriage ceremony. " [Which
was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Judicial Proceedings. ]

By the President: Senate Bill No. 109, entitled "An Act to
make an appropriation for repairs to the Iceboat 'Annapolis, '

and toward the expense of its maintenance and operation. "
[Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Finance. ]

By Mr. Archer: Senate Bill No. 110, entitled "An Act to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments. Section 7 of Article 81
of Bagby's Annotated Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, title 'Revenue and Taxes, ' sub-title ''Exemptions, ' as en-
