dollars; f or the salary of one assistant clerk to the Treasurer,
twenty-two hundred dollars; for the salaries of three assist-
ant clerks to the Treasurer, fifteen hundred dollars each,
forty-five hundred dollars; for the salary of one messenger to
the Treasurer, one thousand dollars; for the salary of the
State Librarian, fifteen hundred dollars; for the salary of the
Indexer and Cataloguer, fifteen hundred dollars; for the
salary of the Custodian of Works of Reference, twelve hun-
dred dollars; for the salary of the Commissioner of the Land
Office, fifteen hundred dollars; special duties of the Commis-
sioner of the Land Office in connection with the keeping of
maps, books, records and papers connected with the office of
Board of Shell Fish Commissioners, as provided in Section
16, Article 54 of the Annotated Code of Public General Laws
of Maryland, six hundred dollars; for the salary of the Chief
Clerk of the Commissioner of the Land Office, two thousand
dollars; for the salaries of two assistant clerks to the Com-
missioner of the Land Office, thirteen hundred dollars each,
twenty-six hundred dollars; for the salaries of three special
index clerks to the Commissioner of the Land Office, one thou-
sand dollars each, three thousand dollars; for the salary of
the Secretary of the Senate during recess of the Legislature,
three hundred dollars; for the salary of the Chief Clerk of the
House of Delegates during recess of the Legislature, three
hundred dollars.
'Judiciary—For the salary of the Chief Judges of the first
seven judicial Circuits, six thousand eight hundred dollars
each, forty-seven thousand six hundred dollars; for the sal-
aries of the fifteen associate judges of the first seven judicial
Circuits, four thousand six hundred dollars each, sixty-nine
thousand dollars; for the salaries of the Judge of the Court
of Appeals fr6m Baltimore city, six thousand eight hundred
dollars, and for the Chief Judge and nine associate Judges
of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore city, five thousand five
hundred dollars each, sixty-one thousand eight hundred dol-
lars; for the salary of the Clerk of the Court of Appeals, three
thousand dollars; for the salaries of the Deputy Clerks of the
Court of Appeals, as provided in Article 17, Section 43 of the
Annotated Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, four
thousand nine hundred dollars; for the salary of the messen-
