ger of the Court of Appeals, one thousand dollars; for the
salary of the crier of the Court of Appeals, one thousand dol-
lars; for the salary of a stenographer of the Court of Appeals,
fifteen hundred dollars; for the commissions to attorneys on
claims of the State placed in this hands for collection, three
thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary;
for the payment of the pension of Judge James U. Dennis, as
provided by Chapter 323 of the Acts of 1908, four thousand
five hundred dollars; for the pensions to retired^ judges pro-
vided by Article 26, Section 46 of the Annotated Code of the
Public General Laws of Maryland, twenty thousand dollars,
or so much thereof as may be necessary; for the salary of the
Trust Clerk of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore city, as pro-
vided by Chapter 438 of the Acts of 1806, two thousand five
hundred dollars; for the salary of the Clerks of the two Cir-
cuit Courts of Baltimore city, as provided by Chapter 343 of
the Acts of 1912, two thousand five hundred dollars each, five
thousand dollars; to make up deficiency in salaries of the
clerks of the Circuit Courts of Baltimore city and of the Bal-
timore City Court, as provided in Chapter 54 of the Acts of
1868, four thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be
necessary.
'Contingent Funds—For the contingent fund placed at the
disposal of the Governor by Article 3, Section 32 of the Con-
stitution, ten thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may
be necessary; for the contingent fund of the State Treasurer,
for advertising, stationery, blanks, books, expressage, tele-
grams, traveling and other incidental expenses, four thousand
dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary; for the con-
tingent fund of the Comptroller's office, for printing blank
licenses, protests, circulars, warrants, books, traveling and
other office expenses, six thousand dollars, or so much thereof
as may be necessary; for the contingent fund of the Land
Office, twenty-five hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may
be necessary; for the contingent fund of the Court of Appeals
(including twenty-three hundred dollars for janitor's, sec-
retary's and stenographer's services), thirty-three hundred
dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary; for the con-
tingent fund of the Clerk of the Court of Appeals, twelve
hundred and fifty dollars; for the contingent fund of the
Board of Public Works, forty-five hundred dollars, or so much
thereof as may be necessary, said amount to be expended
under the direction and control of said Board, to be used for
repairs to State property and other necessary expenses; for
the contingent fund of the State Librarian for postage, por-
