(b) The hours during which sales of alcoholic beverages may be
made under Class BC, BT, BTM, WC, WT, and BR, WE and WTM
licenses shall be from 6 A. M. until 12 o'clock midnight, of each day.
(c) The hours during which sales of alcoholic beverages may be
made under Class LC, LT, LTM, LR and LED licenses shall be from
6 A. M. until 2 A. M. of the day following.
(d) No sale may be made after 2 A. M. on Sunday of any alcoholic
beverages by the holder of a Class LT license.
(e) Sales may be made on Sundays by the holder of a special Sun-
day license, according to the terms thereof.
(f)] (a) The hours during which sales of Alcoholic beverages
may be made under all Class A, B, C, and D licenses D, AND YACHT
CLUBS IN THE EIGHTH DISTRICT LICENSES shall be from
6 A. M. until 2 A. M. of the day following, except that no licensed
premises shall be permitted to sell alcoholic beverages at any time
on Sunday without a special Sunday license, AND EXCEPT THAT
YACHT CLUBS IN THE EIGHTH ELECTION DISTRICT SHALL
NOT BE REQUIRED TO HAVE A SPECIAL SUNDAY LICENSE.
(b) No licensed premises shall remain open to the public or to
private persons or parties for any purpose after the hours and days
for sale set forth in this section, regardless of the fact that no sales
are made after the hours of closing. Any violation of this subsection
shall incur the same penalty as a violation for making a sale of
alcoholic beverages after hours.
(B) NO LICENSED PREMISES SHALL REMAIN OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC OR TO PRIVATE PERSONS OR PARTIES FOR
ANY PURPOSE FOR MORE THAN FIFTEEN MINUTES AFTER
THE HOURS AND DAYS FOR SALE SET FORTH IN THIS SEC-
TION, REGARDLESS OF THE FACT THAT NO SALES ARE
MADE AFTER THE HOURS OF CLOSING. PROVIDED, THAT,
UPON APPLICATION OF ANY LICENSEE HOLDING A CLASS
B LICENSE, THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS
MAY, IN ITS DISCRETION, PERMIT SUCH A LICENSEE TO
SERVE FOOD UNTIL A SPECIFIED HOUR, PROVIDED THE
LICENSEE PROVES TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE BOARD
OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS THAT SUITABLE PRE-
CAUTIONS HAVE BEEN TAKEN TO PREVENT THE SALE
AND/OR CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON
THE LICENSED PREMISES AFTER THE HOURS OF CLOSING.
SUCH PERMISSION SHALL BE EVIDENCED BY A SUITABLE
LICENSE AUTHORIZED BY THE BOARD OF LICENSE COM-
MISSIONERS AND ISSUED BY THE CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT
COURT, THE ANNUAL FEE THEREFORE BEING TEN DOL-
LARS ($10.00). ANY VIOLATION OF THIS SUBSECTION
SHALL INCUR THE SAME PENALTY AS A VIOLATION FOR
MAKING A SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AFTER
HOURS.
(c) The hours established in this Article for the sale of alcoholic
beverages in Anne Arundel County are hereby declared to be in ac-
cordance with Eastern Standard Time, or Daylight Savings Time,
whichever is established as the local law by the Board of County
Commissioners of Anne Arundel County.
