(b) In Baltimore City and in Baltimore and Harford counties
additional license fees may be imposed by said city or counties,
which additional fees shall be used for the benefit of said counties
or city only. Any person, partnership, firm or corporation applying
for such license in Harford County, shall pay an additional sum of
$20.00 per annum for each free play pinball machine, as herein-
above described, and the sum of $35.00 per annum for each free
play console machine as hereinabove defined.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

(House Bill 942)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 191 (a)
of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Licenses", sub-title "Dog Licenses in the Counties", and to
add new Section 191 (h) to said Article of said Code (1957 Edition)
and 1960 Supplement), to follow immediately after Section 191 (g)
thereof, relating to the dog license fees in Howard County.
. Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 191 (a) of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title "Dog Licenses in the
Counties", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, and that new Section 191 (h) be and it is hereby added to said
Article of said Code (1957 Edition and 1960 Supplement), to follow
immediately after Section 191 (g) thereof, and to read as follows:
191.
(a) On or before the first day of July of each year, the owner of
any dog, six months old or over, shall apply either orally or in writing,
to the county treasurer or to the tax collecting officer in said county
for a license for each such dog owned or kept by him, and such appli-
cation shall be accompanied by a fee of one dollar ($1.00) for each
male dog or each spayed female dog, and a fee of two dollars ($2.00)
for each unspayed female dog, and provided that kennel license shall
be issued for ten dollars ($10.00) to persons owning or keeping not
in excess of twenty-five dogs and that a kennel license fee of twenty
dollars ($20.00) shall be issued to persons keeping more than twenty-
five dogs. [Provided further that in Howard County the fee for all
dogs, whether male or female, or spayed, shall be $1.50.] The said
