CHAPTER 88
(Senate Bill 151)
AN ACT to repeal Section 342A of Article 24 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County",
sub-title "Wild Animals", as said section was last amended by
Chapter 413 of the Acts of 1941, repealing a local law of Worcester
County concerning the payment of an allowance or bounty for the
killing of certain animals.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 342A of Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County", sub-title "Wild
Animals", as said section was last amended by Chapter 413 of the
Acts of 1941, be and it is hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

(Senate Bill 152)
AN ACT to repeal Section 343 of Article 24 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County",
sub-title "Witnesses", repealing an obsolete and unnecessary local
law of Worcester County concerning the payment of fees and mile-
age to witnesses.
Whereas, In Chapter 926 of the Acts of 1947, which amended
what is now Section 18 of Article 35 in the 1957 Edition of the
Annotated Code there was a purported repeal of Section 343 of
Article 24 in the 1930 Edition of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, which section related to witnesses in Worcester County;
and
Whereas, When this section was purportedly repealed by Chapter
926 of 1947 the reference was made to Section 343 of Article 24, title
"Wicomico County", rather than to the title "Worcester County";
and
Whereas, Since there appears in said Chapter 926 of 1947 no
other reference to the fact that it was a local law of Worcester
County and not of Wicomico County that was intended to be re-
pealed; and
Whereas, To avoid any question about the repeal of this Section
343 in the local laws of Worcester County it is desirable to repeal
