Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission is hereby extended to
the above-described Rural Water Area and said area shall be subj-
ect to all the rules and regulations of the Commission and all pro-
visions of law relating to the Washington Suburban Sanitary District
which are applicable to the water system of the Commission including
taxes and other sums or charges levied by said Commission in said
Sanitary District; provided, however, that the Commission shall not
levy any ad valorem or front foot benefit tax assessment or other
charge within the aforementioned Rural Water Area until such
time as the construction of a water system shall be actually com-
menced, or an existing water system shall be extended to such area,
and available to the property within such area, and when from time
to time such a system is commenced or extended, then the area or
areas affected by such commencement or extension shall be excluded
from this provision.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

(House Bill 612)
AN ACT to add new section 59C to Article 19 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's County",
sub-title "County Commissioners", to follow immediately after
section 59B thereof, section 59B having been enacted by Chapter
525 of the Laws of 1959, allowing the County Commissioners of St.
Mary's County to borrow up to a certain sum of money whenever
necessary.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new section 59C be and is hereby added to Article 19 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's
County", sub-title "County Commissioners", to follow immediately
after section 59B thereof, and to read as follows:
59C.
The Board of County Commissioners of St. Mary's County is
authorized and empowered to borrow money for the use of the county
whenever it becomes necessary in order to defray the current ex-
year one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.) THE INDEBTED-
NESS INCURRED UNDER THIS AUTHORIZATION SHALL AT
NO TIME EXCEED THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($100,000).
