Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section 304A be and it is hereby added to Article 66C of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Natural Re-
sources", sub-title "Fish and Fisheries", sub-heading "Part 2. Tidal
Waters" to follow immediately after Section 304 thereof, to provide
as follows:
304A. Transfer of licenses to other equipment.—Any license to
operate pound nets, haul seines, gill nets, or fyke or hoop nets issued
under this sub-heading may be changed, before it has expired, so as
to permit the owners thereof to operate another kind of equipment
requiring a license under this sub-heading, the procedure to accomp-
lish such change and any adjustments in license fees for so doing in
any particular case or category of cases shall be provided for by rule
or regulation of the Department of Tidewater Fisheries, which rule
shall provide that no more than one change may be made in one
calendar year.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 480
(House Bill 66)
AN ACT to add a new section to the public local laws of Prince
George's County (1953 Edition), being Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's County",
sub-title "Circuit Court", to be under the NEW sub-heading
"Stenographers", said new section to be known as Section 289A,
and to follow immediately after Section 289 of said Article, au-
thorizing any member of the Court of Appeals resident in Prince
George's County to appoint a secretary and providing for his or
her qualifications and terms of employment, and relating generally
to the compensation of said secretary.
