Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 275 of Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County", sub-title "Rev-
enue and Taxes", be and it is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

(Senate Bill 141)

AN ACT to repeal Section 276 of Article 24 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester Coun-
ty", sub-title "Revenue and Taxes", repealing an obsolete local
law of Worcester County which was enacted in 1894 and which
concerns plans for the Court House and jail.

Whereas, In Chapter 250 of the Acts of 1894, Worcester County
was authorized to borrow $25,000 for the construction of a Court
House and jail; and

Whereas, One section of this Act which has been codified as Sec-
tion 276 in the 1930 Code of Public Local Laws concerns the plans
for this building; and

Whereas, This section is now entirely obsolete and should be re-
pealed; now, therefore,

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 276 of Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County", sub-title
"Revenue and Taxes", be and it is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.
