for which he shall be answerable by law, which bond shall be secured
by a fidelity or security company qualified to act as surety or guar-
antor under the laws of the State of Maryland, and shall be approved
by one of the Judges of the Circuit Court of Worcester County, and
thereafter be recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court
for said county.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
on June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 66
(Senate Bill 134)

AN ACT to repeal Section 248 of Article 24 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County",
sub-title "Revenue and Taxes", repealing a local law of Worcester
County concerning the County Treasurer and his duties.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 248 of Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County", sub-title "Reve-
nue and Taxes", be and it is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
on June 1, 1961.

Approved February 27, 1961.

CHAPTER 67
(Senate Bill 136)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 265 of
Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Worcester County", sub-title "Revenue and Taxes",
eliminating the necessity for the Treasurer of Worcester County
to give certain notice of his attendance in the several election dis-
tricts in order to collect taxes.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 265 of Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County", sub-title "Rev-
enue and Taxes", be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

265. The Treasurer may, in his discretion, attend in each election
