CHAPTER 64
(Senate Bill 131)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 232 and 233 of Article 24 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester
County", sub-title "Railroad Crossings", and to repeal said sub-
title, repealing obsolete local laws of Worcester County concerning
the duty of railroad companies to construct and maintain cattle
guards and concerning also the penalty for failing to comply with
this law.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 232 and 233 of Article 24 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County", sub-
title "Railroad Crossings", be and they are hereby repealed, and
that said sub-title be and it is hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 65
(Senate Bill 133)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 245 of
Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Worcester County", sub-title "Revenue and Taxes",
removing from the law concerning the bond of the Treasurer of
Worcester County, a reference to his duties as Clerk to the Board
of County Commissioners, said latter functions now being no
longer performed by this official.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 245 of Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County", sub-title
"Revenue and Taxes", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
245. The said Treasurer, before he enters upon the duties of his
said office, shall take an oath before the Clerk of the Circuit Court
for Worcester County that he will faithfully perform the duties of
the same, and he shall also execute a bond to the State of Maryland
in the penalty of twenty-five thousand dollars for the faithful per-
formance of his duties as Treasurer [and as Clerk to the County
Commissioners] of Worcester County, the premium on said bond
shall be paid for by the County Commissioners, and further condi-
tioned that he shall well and truly account and be liable for any and
all moneys coming into his possession as Treasurer and collector or
