Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 160 and 161 of Article 24 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County", sub-title
"Orphans' Court", Section 160 thereof having been amended by
Chapter 153 of the Acts of 1935, be and the same are hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
160. The sessions of the Orphans' Court of Worcester County shall
be held on Tuesday of each week £, and the Judges of the said
Orphans' Court of Worcester County shall each receive the sum of
six dollars for each day's attendance upon the sessions of said Court].
Hereafter, not more than one of said Judges shall be a resident of
any County Commissioner District of Worcester County.
161. The Commissioners of said County shall levy annually such
sum as they may estimate will be sufficient to pay the Judges of said
Orphans' Court for the next ensuing year; and it shall be the duty
of the Register of Wills to certify quarterly to the County Commis-
sioners of the County the number of days each of said Judges has
attended said Court during the quarter [; and the Treasurer shall pay
to each of said Judges six dollars for each of said days attendance so
certified by the Register of Wills].
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 63
(Senate Bill 130)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 228 and 229 of Article 24 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester
County", sub-title "Pocomoke River", and to repeal said sub-title,
repealing certain obsolete local laws of Worcester County con-
cerning the throwing of certain material into the waters of the
Pocomoke River and concerning also the penalties for this offense.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 228 and 229 of Article 24 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County", sub-
title "Pocomoke River", be and they are hereby repealed, and that
said sub-title be and it is hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.
