days from the effective date thereof, upon the payment of a fee of
five dollars ($5.00) for each such license.
155 (J) IN CHARLES COUNTY THE CHAIRMAN OF THE
BOARD SHALL RECEIVE AN ANNUAL SALARY OF SEVEN
HUNDRED DOLLARS ($700.00) AND THE TWO ASSOCIATE
MEMBERS AN ANNUAL SALARY OF FIVE HUNDRED DOL-
LARS ($500.00) EACH. THE BOARD SHALL APPOINT A
CLERK WHO SHALL RECEIVE AN ANNUAL SALARY OF
SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS ($700.00); AN ATTORNEY WHO
SHALL RECEIVE AN ANNUAL SALARY OF EIGHT HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($800.00), AND THE BOARD SHALL HAVE AU-
THORITY TO EXPEND ANNUALLY SUCH ADDITIONAL SUM
OR SUMS AS MAY BE NECESSARY, NOT EXCEEDING $250.00,
TO COVER OTHER EXPENSES.

(f-1) In Charles County, the Board is authorized to pay to the
secretary of the Board the sum of one dollar ($1.00) per page for
recording testimony at hearings before the Board. The Board is
further authorized to expend a sum not to exceed two thousand dol-
lars annually for investigation of applications for a license and for
investigation of violations of this article.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 185 of
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1960 Supplement),
title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Regulatory Powers", en-
abling the Comptroller to adopt rules and regulations, for the
proper enforcement of his duties under this article, relating to the
nature, form and capacity of all containers of alcoholic beverages.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 185 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1960 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Regula-
tory Powers", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
