of his duties under this article. He is authorized to adopt rules and
regulations in regard to labeling and advertising similar to those
adopted by the Federal Alcohol Administration; nature, form and
capacity of all containers [of beer]; credit sales; records to be kept
by licensees and others engaged in the business; and such other sub-
jects as may be deemed necessary for the proper administration of
his duties under this article. Any violation of any rule or regulation
adopted hereunder, shall be ground for revocation or suspension of
license, and the offender shall be subject to the penalties prescribed
by Section 200 of this article.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

AN ACT to add new Section 521 (e) to Article 27 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1960 Supplement), title
"Crimes and Punishments", sub-title "Sabbath Breaking", to fol-
low immediately after Section 521 (d) thereof, permitting the
sale of pottery, chinaware and food or food stuffs CERTAIN
ITEMS on Sunday in Howard County. , AND MAKING THIS
ACT AN EMERGENCY MEASURE.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 521 (e) be and it is hereby added to Article 27 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1960 Supple-
ment), title "Crimes and Punishments", sub-title "Sabbath Break-
ing", to follow immediately after Section 521 (d) thereof, and to
read as follows:

In Howard County, in addition to the articles of merchandise here-
inbefore mentioned, may sell, barter deal in, and deliver
on Sunday the following articles of merchandise: pottery, chinaware
and food or food stuffs prepared or intended for human oonsumption.
