Upon Licensees", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments, to read as follows:
115. Outside solicitations by retailors prohibited; delivery in
Queen Anne's County.
(a) Generally. No retail dealer shall be permitted to employ any
solicitor or salesman for the purpose of soliciting, outside of the
licensed place of business, orders for the sale of any alcoholic bev-
erages within this State, and no sale of alcoholic beverages may be
consummated outside of the licensed place of business. Nothing herein
contained shall prohibit the receiving of orders by mail, telephone
or messenger and the filling of such orders by delivery and the
payment therefor at the place of delivery.
() Queen Anne's County. In Queen Anne's County,, KENT AND
TALBOT COUNTIES, however, there shall be no retail delivery to
a purchaser of any alcoholic beverages unless the retail dealer is
authorized to sell and distribute alcoholic beverages in Queen Anne's
County , KENT AND TALBOT COUNTIES by a license issued by
the Clerk of the Court of Queen Anne's County., KENT AND TAL-
BOT COUNTIES.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

(Senate Bill 82)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 314 of
Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Operation of Vehicles Upon
Highways", to make poles and mill logs not subject to the restric-
tions in this section upon the length of vehicles.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 314 of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Operation of
Vehicles Upon Highways", be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
314.
No vehicle or combination of vehicles including the load thereon
shall exceed 55 feet in length inclusive of front and rear bumpers;
except that any utility poles being transported by or for any public
utility company shall not be subject to the limitations provided in
this section as to over-all length, and further provided that piling,
and/or poles and mill logs shall not be subject to the limitations
provided in this section as to the over-all length, and provided fur-
ther that vehicles or trailers transporting boats or vessels commonly
known as crew or rowing shells for use in interscholastic or inter-
collegiate rowing contests shall not be subject to the limitations of
this section as to over-all length.
