The county board of education shall hold an annual meeting each
year on the second Tuesday in May, or as near as possible thereto
in May, except that in Montgomery such annual meeting shall be
held on or before the tenth day of January in each year. At this
meeting the board shall elect one of its members to serve as president
and one to serve as vice-president. Other regular meetings shall be
held at least once in each school term, and such special meetings may
be held as the duties and business of the board may require. The
members of the county boards of education shall receive no salary,
but each member shall receive the sum of one hundred dollars an-
nually for traveling and other expenses incident to attending the
meetings and transacting the business of the board within the
county, provided, however, that in Dorchester County and Howard
County each member of the Board of Education shall receive an-
nually the sum of two hundred dollars for such traveling and other
expenses. In Charles County, each member of the County Board of
Education shall receive compensation at the rate of two hundred
fifty dollars annually, and in Allegany County each member of
the Board of Education shall receive not more than two hundred
dollars annually for such traveling and other expenses. In St. Mary's
County each member of the Board of Education shall receive the sum
of $200.00 annually for such traveling and other expenses. In Fred-
erick County each member of the Board of Education shall receive
the sum of $300.00 annually for such traveling and other expenses.
In Worcester County each member of the Board of Education shall
receive the sum of $250.00 annually for such traveling and other
expenses.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

(Senate Bill 81)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section 115 of
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Restrictions Upon Licensees",
amending the alcoholic beverage laws applicable within Queen
Anne's County, KENT AND TALBOT COUNTIES with particu-
lar respect to the retail delivery to a purchaser of any alcoholic
beverages.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 115 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Restrictions
