CHAPTER 49

(Senate Bill 115)

AN ACT to repeal Section 2 of Chapter 269 of the Acts of 1933 and
to repeal Section 2 of Chapter 619 of the Acts of 1941, amending
two laws which changed the boundaries of certain election districts
in Worcester County in order to remove therefrom obsolete provi-
sions concerning the duties of the Board of Supervisors of Elections
of Worcester County.

Whereas, Chapter 269 of the Acts of 1933 created a new election
district in Worcester County to be known as the Tenth Election Dis-
trict; and

Whereas, Chapter 619 of the Acts of 1941 changed the boundaries
of the Second, Fifth, Eighth and Tenth Election Districts of Wor-
cester County; and

Whereas, In both Acts Section 2 thereof required the Supervisors
of Elections of Worcester County to change the registration books in
order to take account of the changes in the boundary lines of the
several election districts; and

Whereas, Section 2 in each of the said Acts is now completely
obsolete and should be repealed; now, therefore

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 2 of Chapter 269 of the Acts of 1933 be and it is hereby
repealed and that Section 2 of Chapter 619 of the Acts of 1941 be
and it is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.
