title "Worcester County", sub-title "Election Districts", as said
section was last amended by Chapter 583 of the Acts of 1955,
amending the law concerning election districts in Worcester
County, in order to correct the name of the district formerly known
as "Newton district, No. 1."

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 77 of Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County", sub-title "Elec-
tion Districts", as said section was last amended by Chapter 583 of the
Acts of 1955, be and it is hereby repealed and reenacted with amend-
ment to read as follows:

77. Worcester County is divided into eight election districts, and
the said districts are named and numbered as follows: [Newton]
Pocomoke district, No. 1; Snow Hill district, No. 2; Berlin district,
No. 3; Newark district, No. 4; St. Martin's district, No. 5; Atkinson's
district, No. 7; Stockton district, No. 8; and Ocean City district (No.
10) as created by Chapter 269 of the Acts of 1933. Districts Nos. 1,
4, 5, 8 and 10 shall retain their present bounds and limits. Coul-
bourne's district, No. 6, is abolished. All that part of said district
lying to the west of Nassawango Creek is hereby added to District
No. 7, and all that part of District No. 6 lying to the east of said
Creek is hereby added to Election District No. 2. West Berlin district
No. 9 is abolished as such and is hereby added to Berlin District No. 3.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 79 and 80
of Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Worcester County", sub-title "Fire Companies",
Section 79 thereof having been last amended by Chapter 118 of the
Acts of 1939, and Section 80 thereof having been last amended by
Chapter 37 of the Acts of 1941, revising the laws concerning the
taxes levied for the benefit of volunteer fire companies in Wor-
cester County, and the payments made to such companies.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
