AN ACT to add new Section 633A to Article 27 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Crimes and Punishments",
sub-title "Venue, Procedure and Sentence", sub-heading "Sentence
and Punishment", to follow immediately after Section 633 thereof,
providing that when the date of release from imprisonment falls
on a Sunday or legal holiday, it shall be deemed to fall on the
preceding day.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 633A be and it is hereby added to Article 27 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Crimes and Pun-
ishments", sub-title "Venue, Procedure and Sentence", sub-heading
"Sentence and Punishment", to follow immediately after Section 633
thereof, and to read as follows:
633A.
When the date of release from imprisonment from a State correc-
tional or penal institution falls on a Sunday or legal holiday, it shall
be deemed to fall on the preceding day.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 304

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 250 of
Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1960 Supplement),
title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "Appeal Tax Courts", to re-
move a limitation on the power of the County Commissioners to
establish appeal tax courts in the counties.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 250 of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1960 Supplement), title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "Appeal
Tax Courts", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

lution of the county commissioners as provided in this sub-title, the
