122A. The County Commissioners are authorized to assume con-
trol of and to maintain and operate the Charles County Rescue Squad.
For this purpose the Commissioners may provide for the construction
of a building to house the rescue squad, and are authorized to ap-
propriate for its maintenance and operation such sums as the Com-
missioners may determine in their discretion.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

AN ACT to add new Section 5-7.1 to the Frederick County Code,
1959 (being Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land), title "Frederick County", sub-title "Courts", sub-heading
"In General", to follow immediately after Section 5.7 thereof,
authorizing the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Frederick County
to regulate the recording of plats among the land records of said
county.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Marylandf
That new Section 5-7.1 be and it is hereby added to the Frederick
County Code, 1959 (being Article 11 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Frederick County", sub-title "Courts",
sub-heading "In General", to follow immediately after Section 5.7
thereof, and to read as follows:
5-7.1.
The Clerk of the Circuit Court for Frederick County is hereby
authorized to adopt reasonable rules regulating the filing of plats
among the land records of said county, including but not limited to,
regulation of the size, number, type of reproduction, type of paper
upon which the same is made, and the fee for recording the same.
The Clerk may also adopt rules requiring that oversized plats be
divided into subplats of a size convenient for suitable and permar-
nent preservation and reproduction. No rule so adopted shall con-
travene the general law of this State relating to the recordation of
plats and all such rules shall be subject to approval or rejection by
the Judge of said court.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.
