sioners"; to repeal and re-enact, with amendments Section 155 (f)
of said Article and sub-title; and to add a new Section 187A to
said Article, sub-title "Enforcement", to follow immediately after
Section 187 thereof amending the alcoholic beverage laws of Calvert
County with respect to the composition and compensation of the
board of license commissioners relating to the compensation of the
clerk and attorney to this board and providing also for certain
additional duties for the members of this board.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section 148 (b-2) be added to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1960 Supplement), title "Alco-
holic Beverages", sub-title "Boards of License Commissioners"; to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 155 (f) of said Article
and sub-title; and new Section 187 (a) be added to said Article,
sub-title "Enforcement", all to read as follows:

(b-2) Calvert County. In Calvert County effective on January 1,1968
one member of the board shall always be a member of that political
party which at the last preceding gubernatorial election polled the
second highest number of votes throughout the State for that office.
155.
(f) Calvert County. In Calvert County each of the members of the
board shall receive an annual salary of [two] eight hundred dollars
[($200.00)] ($800.00). The clerk to the board shall receive annual
compensation of five hundred dollars ($500.00) and the attorney to
the board shall receive annual compensation of six hundred dollars
($600.00). Members of the board as well as the clerk and the attorney
shall not receive any extra compensation for expenses.

Calvert County. In Calvert County the board of license commis-
sioners shall inspect every licensed premises in the county at least
once every three months.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.
