(h-1) In Wicomico County the annual fee for such a license shall
be one hundred and twenty-five dollars ($125.00).

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect

June 1, 1961.

SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT THIS ACT
IS HEREBY DECLARED TO BE AN EMERGENCY MEASURE
AND NECESSARY FOR THE IMMEDIATE PRESERVATION
OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY, AND HAVING BEEN
PASSED BY A YEA AND NAY VOTE SUPPORTED BY THREE-
FIFTHS OF THE MEMBERS ELECTED TO EACH OF THE
TWO HOUSES OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, THE SAME
SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM THE DATE OF ITS PASSAGE.

CHAPTER 201
(House Bill 353)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 461, 465, 466, 467, 468, 469, 479, 485, 486
and 487 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany County
(1955 Edition, being Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Allegany County", sub-title "Roads", repealing
certain obsolete and outmoded local laws of Allegany County hav-
ing generally to do with the construction, use, and maintenance
of certain roads within Allegany County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 461, 465, 466, 467, 468, 469, 479, 485, 486, and 487 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany County (1955 Edition,
being Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Allegany County", sub-title "Roads", be and they are hereby re-
pealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

Approved March 23, 1961.

CHAPTER 202
. (House Bill 366)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 122 (e) (1)
of Article 48A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Insurance", sub-title "Agents and Brokers", to provide for
examinations of applicants who intend to write Accident and Health
Insurance without requiring such applicants to be qualified to sell
Life Insurance.
